Bathroom Scales
Comments (29)I got my scale at Bed, Bath and Beyond -- I found that the digital scale quickly got wildly inaccurate -- in my favor, but that's not what I wanted. So I tossed it and am happy with my old fashioned analog scale. Both scales were less than $40. I'm not really convinced that a human scale is very accurate for the nuances of cat weight. I've done the same -- picked up the cat, weighed both of us, then myself alone, subtracted the difference. Oddly erratic differences when you get down to the partial pounds, and for a potentially 8-11 pound animal, this matters....See MoreBathroom renewel
Comments (36)Hi, For the mirror part I was not thinking of covering the mirror, only if I had another bigger mirror that filled the whole background space : 1m x 1,4m I was thinking of framing the mirror: - wood - glass, pvc and put a sticker print? Which color or pattern? Any idea. Or just fill in the cracks? Under the sink would take out the baskets and buy something like this : My dirty clothes bin and a bit of my Mat on the bottom left: As the floor Mat, the clothes bin is Brown and I have 4 wicker baskets plus 2 smaller ones. The idea would be to have a shelve rack like this one that is in the kitchen or one in wood above the bidet and put Things in the baskets : ps: ignore other objects, I could put 2 big baskets In each shelves, only one, etc What do you think? I saw these shower curtains too today : For the under sink curtain should I use the same color as the shower one? Please help :)...See MoreHELP with late 60s bathroom
Comments (92)I think I have the same "pink". A lot of the true pinks like the flamingos in the wallpaper Pal posted--which I DID try--don't quite go. And the one Tartan linked is just too much of a not-quite-good thing, although I didn't check it out in person. Howsabout tropical (I know, they don't really have pink flowers....but hey)?...See MoreCreative design ideas for modern bungalow bathroom?
Comments (25)Thanks (and beautiful bathroom!) @cpartist, that looks like the same Daltile cove base tiles we're planning to use (with B&W Tile green subway tiles since no one else makes jade green anymore, apparently!) Heritage Tile does but then you'll pay for it. Also there are other brands that carry green tile. However most companies that do make green tile are a heck of a lot more expensive than what I paid for my white subway tile. I know because I did look into possibly doing a color in the guest bath. Wasn't worth it to me! Does the Daltile black work decently with the Heritage tile black? The Heritage floor tile is a flat black and the white is slightly less white but it all works beautifully together and looks authentic. Even though my house is brand new, I was going for an authentic look of a house from 1910-1925 period. So yes, just like it would have one century ago. And is your trim 1/2" pencil liner? (I ordered 1/4" liner from B&W but still wonder if we should have just stuck with the 1/2" Daltile so that it would match the trim...oh, well!) Yes my trim is the 1/2" pencil liner. And I absolutely would have stuck with the same color liner as your trim color. Blacks from different companies can wind up being different, just as whites or any other color can. BTW: Signature Hardware makes glass pulls and knobs in a jade green color. I used Platinum grout color for my bathroom. I wanted a tint of gray but not so dark as to take away from the tiles....See Morepetalique
