Comments (4)I'm a funny/clever commercial addict, so I kept track of every one that made me laugh and/or sniffle. I have to say that if I was judging the commercials on just how touching they are, Budweiser won, hooves down, Bonz. I think I cried when I saw the pony's older buddies pushing that wagon. :D And the reaction of the cowboys during the sheep streaker! Hilarious! Ameriquest had some really funny ones, though. The hospital setting with the doctor's aide guy zapping the fly...what was the catch phrase? Something like, "Don't believe everything you see," along those lines. And the one on the airplane, the lady straddling the guy. LOL All of the Bud Light commercials were pretty funny, too. Some others I really enjoyed - The hamster mascot (McDonald's) Sierra Mist (airport scanner "beep") FedEx (caveman) Michelob Ultra (the darker side, guy tackles girl, vice versa) Oh, Sprint was GREAT! (crime deterrent phone one & couch on fire one) Jack in the Box (feeding pigeons [people] ciabatta bread) Sharpie (pirate with hook costume) Nationwide (old Fabio) Another one of my favorites was the Emerald Nuts one, but I missed the "L" word! Evil-eyed Machete Enthusiasts Recognize A L??? Druid Networking Under The Stairs Also, the McGyver blast from past (MasterCard) and the boomerang thief (Outback restaurant) I know, but it's only once a year! :D Brenda...See MoreI just purchased my first *streaker*!
Comments (14)Thanks everyone for your comments! Denise, To answer your question (sort of) as to why I haven't purchased a streaker before now---I've never really been a fan of them. You know how we all have our *preferences* and *druthers*! :o) Actually--'Spilt Milk' is a streaked hosta, of sorts, isn't it? So, I guess the IAT is my second one. I never could see what folks saw in SM but when I saw one this year, I thought--- "hmmmmmm--maybe that IS neat"! The ones I HAVE liked better than most, are the pricey ones--'Gunthers Prize', 'Blizzard' and one other I can't remember right now---! Wait--is a striped 'Jewel of the Nile' considered streaked?? Jersey, your IAT really looks great!! I hope mine proves to be as *hosta-worthy* as yours!!! Thanks for the encouraging pic,--I remember it from another thread, now!! Janet---no--I do not know where I'm going to plant them!!! Ridiculous--I should stop with getting more--REALLY!! You'd think, losing 39 of them, (mostly those in pots) this Spring, would have given me *pause* in getting more, that will likely have to spend the winter in their pots!! Insane!!! Art--really good to see you posting!!! Hope things are getting less crowded and more settled for you these days!!! :o) To answer your question, "why Ice Age Trail...?", it was an impulse buy! I had to spend at least $60 on something, since it was the balance of some Nursery--'bucks' that I had spent on a huge set of wind chimes, that were so heavy they wouldn't ring in anything less than a tornado, so I returned them. They were very nice about it, but I knew, that the right thing for me to do was spend the $60, at least, of the value of them since it was the deal with the bucks! I remember our discussion about your preference of 'Dream Weaver' or 'Thunderbolt' and since you favored it and I have seen some pics. of ones that are mature, and they are stunning--I succumbed! :o) I was reluctant about 'Morning Light' because of the white/cream centers--again an implulse I may regret! Thanks again, for all your comments!!! :o)...See MoreJust got Sansevieria hahnii swirls
Comments (15)I think Hahnii Swirls or Twister looks to be the same as what my 'Streaker' was. It's in bad shape right now but hopeful that it will recover. Try google all those names under Sanseveria hahnii ^^^^ and see what shows up. I bet etsy should have them sooner or latter. Ebay went outrageously priced and sky high shipping....See Morelindalana 5b Chicago
